English club Chelsea are reportedly in the circle of interest for a promising French star, with the aim of including him given his performances during the current season, according to a new press report.
According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, Chelsea are pursuing Malamin Ifekele, the Monaco star.
Efekele is nicknamed “the new Mbappé”, in reference to the captain of the French team, who shone in the ranks of the French emirate club before joining the capital club, Paris Saint-Germain.
The British newspaper reported that Ifekele is attracting interest from other top clubs in Germany, Spain and France.
The 19-year-old’s contract with Monaco runs until the summer of 2025.
