More specifically:
A barometric low from the north-northwest accompanied by a cold front is going to cause a worsening of the weather over the weekend, with gale-force winds in almost the entire country and locally heavy rains and storms in northern and eastern island Greece.
The temperature will drop by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius, on Saturday in the central and northern regions and on Sunday in the rest of the country.
More detail:
A. Gusty northwesterly winds of force 8 to 9 with gusts up to 10 Beaufort will blow from the morning hours of Saturday (11-18-23) to the west and gradually to the east as well. The winds will gradually weaken from Sunday afternoon (19-11-23).
B. Heavy rains and storms are predicted from the early hours of Saturday (18-11-23) until the afternoon of the same day in the islands of the Eastern Aegean, the Dodecanese and temporarily very early in the morning in Thrace.
