Waldo in an action against Mirandés (DEPORPRESS)
Deporpress Editorial | Anduva is not good at Tenerife. The squad led by Asier Garitano will seek, against CD Mirandés, to maintain the leadership of the Second Division. And CD Tenerife visits the Municipal de Anduva today, Saturday, starting at 3:15 p.m., a stadium in which they have already won three times. The next visit to Anduva took place on January 14, 1979, when CD Tenerife achieved its first draw in Miranda de Ebro. 1-1 was the final score and the visiting goal was the work of Larrañaga. The curious circumstance occurs that said match did not end until Monday the 15th, as a dense level forced the contest to be postponed after a quarter of an hour of play.
The first defeat would be experienced in 79/80: 3-0. The following season they suffered a new setback, 2-1. The Canarian goal was scored by Chalo. The next visit took place in 81/82 and CD Tenerife won 0-2 thanks to the successes of Lolín, from a penalty, and Alberto. These four duels were in Second B.
Another presence of CD Tenerife in Anduva took place on September 1, 2013, already in the Second Division, and ended in defeat: 2-0. The blue and white team deserved, by far, a better result, but the successes in the final stretch of Mújika and Juan Muñiz prevented the representative from scoring in Burgos.
The next visit, also in the Second Division, took place on February 14, 2015 and ended 1-1. Aitor Sanz put the islanders ahead half an hour into the first half, while Urko Vera equalized for the locals at the beginning of the second half. On another visit, two goals from Nano gave CD Tenerife the three points. The islanders formed that February 28, 2016 with: Dani Hernández; Cámara, Jorge, Carlos Ruiz, Saúl García; Suso (Omar, 74′), Vitolo, Aitor Sanz, Moutinho (Aurtenetxe, 88′); Lozano and Nano (Javi Lara, 82′).
Nano, in the seventh and 54th minute, scored for José Luis Martí’s group, while Eguarás, from a penalty, scored for the locals shortly before the end. The Tenerife entity had worse luck in the next duel. It was on September 25, 2016, when they fell with a tied result of 3-2. A double from Bustos and a goal from Guarrotxena neutralized those achieved by Suso Santana and Jouini.
Another match between CD Mirandés and CD Tenerife in Anduva, both teams shared the points in a goalless match. The match took place on October 26, 2019, and Aritz López Garai lined up in Miranda de Ebro: Ortolá, Luis Pérez, Álex Muñoz, Milla, Lasso, Bermejo, Nahuel, Aitor Sanz, Mazan, Malbasic and Sipcic. Also enjoying minutes: Undabarrena, Miérez and Naranjo.
In the penultimate crossroads with CD Mirandés, the team led by Luis Miguel Ramis took a point from Anduva. That April 21, 2021, coinciding with the 31st matchday of LaLiga SmartBank 20/21, the match ended without goals. The Tarragona coach opted for a formation made up of: Dani Hernández; Kakabadze, Sipcic, Carlos Ruiz, Pomares, Nono, Alberto, Aitor Sanz, Vada, Joselu and Apeh. Also enjoying minutes: Shashoua, Fran Sol, Valera and Moore.
On the penultimate visit of CD Tenerife to Anduva, the blue and white footballers were defeated (2-1). Elady Zorrilla’s goal, before the break, was insufficient for Luis Miguel Ramis’s pupils to score in Miranda de Ebro. The Tenerife team formed with: Soriano; Mellot, Sergio, José León, Alex Muñoz, Mollejo, Aitor Sanz, Corredera, Rubén Díez, Elady and Mario. Also enjoying minutes: Pomares, Shashoua, Míchel, Enric Gallego and Andrés.
CD Tenerife was also outplayed on its last visit to Anduva (1-0). That November 2, 2022, coinciding with the fourteenth round of LaLiga SmartBank, a solitary goal from Gelabert settled the contest. CD Tenerife formed with: Soriano; Aitor Buñuel, Sergio González, Sipcic, Mellot; Appiah, Aitor Sanz, Javi Alonso, Teto; Iván Romero and Enric Gallego.
