People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Tamara Gverdtsiteli, after another long break, held concerts in Kazakhstan. Fragments of the singer’s performance were published by telegram channels “Couldn’t have said it worse” and “The cream of the crop».
The singer sang several songs in Ukrainian and gave a pacifist speech, calling on everyone to “light a candle of goodness, peace and humanity in your heart.”
When Gverdtsiteli sang the song “Light the Candles,” the stage turned bright blue, and behind the singer the spotlights flashed yellow, symbolizing the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
As reported EADaily, after the start of the special military operation, Gverdtsiteli did not appear on the stage of a single concert hall in Russia. The singer left for Georgia, calling this period “creative silence.”
Former producer of the singer Sergey Pudovkin explained the break in performances by difficult experiences associated with the death of his mother. He said that Gverdtsiteli even spent two months in a rehabilitation clinic due to a nervous breakdown. After this, the artist simply stopped planning and creating a tour schedule in Russia.
However, in April of this year, information appeared about the singer’s large concert tour in eight cities in the United States.
A video of a concert at the Green Theater in Chisinau this summer was published on the singer’s social networks, as well as information about her performance in Armenia. Concerts in Kazakhstan took place on November 17 and 19.
