In the early hours of this Saturday, the city of Corrientes was hit by a storm that left numerous damages in its wake. One of the places affected this time was the emblematic Plaza 25 de Mayo, where an imposing and old tree was uprooted due to strong winds.
The immense vegetable fell on a tent that retired police officers set up at the site. Fortunately there were no injuries.
The fierce storm also caused the classic problems of flooding of streets in some sectors of the city, power outages, in addition to the fall of public lighting and telephone poles, which generated concern and significant material damage.
Network users, readers of EL LBERTADOR, warned that Provincial Route No. 43 that leads to Santa Ana de los Guácaras would be cut off by the fall of a large tree.
