NFL games at Signal Iduna Park?

Germany is experiencing a real NFL hype these days. This is not least due to the NFL games taking place in Frankfurt and Munich.

BVB managing director Carsten Cramer is currently ruling out the possibility that, in addition to the Allianz Arena and Deutsche Bank Park, Signal Iduna Park will soon also be the venue for US Football League games.

According to Cramer, Dortmund lacks a connection to American football

Cramer made it clear to the “Ruhr Nachrichten”: “We would never organize a music concert or any other sport.” For him, an NFL game in Dortmund makes no sense because the city has no connection to American football.

Unlike in Dortmund, where there is no higher-class football team, there are well-known football clubs in Munich and Frankfurt, namely the “Ravens” and “Galaxy”.

This is probably also the reason why NFL games will take place again in these two cities and not in Dortmund for the time being.
