William Poromaa will not start in Saturday’s 10 kilometer race in Gällivare.
He is standing over after the crash in the sprint.
– Examination and x-rays do not show any damage, says national team doctor Rickard Noberius.
In Friday’s sprint in the Swedish premiere in Gällivare, William Poromaa had a bad crash.
Afterwards he complained of pain in his back, was x-rayed and received a reassuring message.
“Examination and x-rays do not show any damage, but he is bruised and bruised after the fall,” said national team doctor Rickard Noberius in a statement.
– I feel relieved that it was nothing worse, but I am stiff and a little sore. I’ll wait and see how it feels tomorrow before we make a decision on whether to drive or not. Sad if I have to stand over, but the body has to decide, said Poromaa himself after the examination.

Despite the positive news, there will be no competition for Poromaa on Saturday.
He was included in the start list for the individual 10-kilometer race in classic style, but just before the start, the announcer at the Hellner Stadium trumpeted that Poromaa had ruled himself out.
The Swedish premiere in Gällivare ends on Sunday with a ten kilometer freestyle.
