Teachers recognized for their outstanding educational practice

The Secretary of Education, Egla Cornelio Landero, led the delivery of 27 recognitions to high school teachers in the state who stood out for their contributions in the Call for Best Educational Practices 2023.

In a public ceremony that took place in the auditorium of the “Pablo García Ávalos” Normal School of Physical Education, the head of the SETAB stated, in the presence of federal and state educational authorities, that today more than ever it is necessary to work in favor of adolescents and young people who are part of the State Educational System, so he reiterated his call to teachers to continue instilling values ​​from their classrooms.

“Our youth, our adolescents, require us, that is why today more than ever we must be working on social education in values, in knowledge, in appropriating everything that human beings need to be resignified, to live that resilience in life. everyday”, he highlighted.

In the presence of the Undersecretary of Secondary and Higher Education of the SETAB, Luis Rodrigo Marín Figueroa, and the general director of COBATAB, Erasmo Martínez Rodríguez, the person responsible for educational policy in Tabasco called on the award-winning teachers to feel proud of this recognition. , since their students are the ones who benefit the most from the knowledge they provide through these projects registered in this national call.

“You, when you do your planning, when you prepare all that didactic-pedagogical material, which has been the reason why you are recognized today, you not only think about what you may have of tangible recognition, but also about the intangibles that remain in the human being, which is the appropriation of knowledge, its development for life,” he pointed out.

For his part, the Undersecretary of Secondary and Higher Education, Luis Rodrigo Marín Figueroa, explained that this recognition is granted, through the Unit of the System for the Career of Teachers (USICAMM), to the teachers who propose creative, innovative and original educational practices or pedagogical strategies.

The topics with which they participated were teaching strategies, educational materials to support learning, technology for teaching and learning and educational work in the community environment.

On this occasion, the recipients of the recognition were 27 teachers from the DGETI, DGETA, COBATAB, CECyTE and State Telebachillerato subsystems, who received from the authorities a silver medal and a diploma signed by the Secretary of Public Education, Leticia Ramírez Amaya.

The words of gratitude, on behalf of the award-winning teachers, went to Mario Fernando Blanco López, teacher of the General Directorate of Agricultural Technological Education and Marine Sciences (DEGTAyCM).

This act was also witnessed by the head of the Educational Liaison Office in the State of Tabasco, Irma Luna González; the director of Secondary Education, Beatriz del Carmen Rabelo Estrada; the director of the Normal School of Physical Education, Jorge Torres Carrasco, among others.

It should be noted that six of the awarded teachers will attend on November 24 the Regional Forum for Exchange of Experiences of the System Unit for the Career of Teachers (Usicamm) to be held in the state of Quintana Roo, where they will receive recognition for having obtained the best results at the national level.
