Patrik Karlkvist became a big crowd favorite during his years in Modo in the hockey Allsvenskan.
Nowadays, the forward is a celebrated star in IK Oskarshamn and in the first meeting with his old team earlier last fall, he accounted for four points.
“Here to do my job”
Now he was back in Örnsköldsvik – but both he and the team scored zero when Modo won 3-0.
– There are so many memories. Very special to be back. But I’m here to do my job, said Karlkvist on TV4.
Aagaard match hero
Modo’s Danish goal-stealer Mikkel Aagaard scored the match-deciding 1-0 goal about halfway into the match after fine preparatory work by Johan Södergran. Theodor Niederbach extended the lead just two minutes later.
– Fantastic changes by everyone in the team. Good result with two goals, says Aagaard in TV4.
Mikael Ruohomaa confirmed the final results in the tom bur and goalkeeper Lassi Lehtinen Höll’s first zero in the SHL.
At the same time, this means that Oskarshamn’s crisis is growing. Jumbo have conceded 23 goals in the last four games, all of which have ended in defeat.
