The South Region and Bpifrance launch the “Sud Prêt Climat” system – Le Journal des Entreprises – Région Sud

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region and Bpifrance have just celebrated ten years of partnership in favor of the development of businesses in the regional territory by launching the “Sud Prêt Climat” system, intended to support VSE-SMEs in their ecological transition. This system will make it possible to grant more than 10 million euros in financing to VSEs/SMEs, with the objective of supporting nearly 500 regional businesses by 2024. As part of a “Sud Prêt Climat” loan request “, the company must present a concrete ecological and energy transition action plan. Bpifrance will analyze this action plan and determine to what extent the company or its project respond to the challenges of ecological and energy transition. Agreed at a preferential fixed rate, thanks to the intervention of the Region, the “Sud Prêt Climat” system is aimed at VSE-SMEs in all sectors of activity, having more than three years of existence. The amount of loans distributed is between 10,000 and 300,000 euros. Loans of less than 50,000 euros benefit from a completely dematerialized process. With a duration of five to seven years with a repayment deferral of one to two years, this support loan is granted without taking guarantees on the company’s assets or the manager’s assets. Co-financing of the same amount as the “Sud Prêt Climat” is however mandatory from financial partners.
