Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen has opened up about Saudi Arabia’s bid to sign him, revealing that they were doing everything to get him into their ranks.
The 24-year-old striker’s future in Napoli was uncertain at the start of the season. His relationship with the Italian club was in crisis and the footballer considered extending his contract. In the end, he decided to stay with the team under the guidance of the outgoing Rudi Garcia, but the interest from Saudi Arabia did not subside.
Last summer, Al Hilal offered Victor Osimhen a multi-year contract with a weekly salary of 1 million euros. If he agreed to the transfer, his annual salary would exceed 50 million euros, which is a significantly higher amount compared to his earnings in Napoli.

A few months later, the native of Lagos explained the details of the negotiations with the Saudi Arabian club. “It was crazy. The more I refused them, the more they offered me. It would change my life, but I told them I wanted to stay in Naples,” emphasized the Nigerian striker.
