TikTok Launches New Feature, Users Can Add Songs from TikTok to Apple Music

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – TikTok is launching a new feature that offers deep integration with the app streaming music, such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

As TikTok stated in its blog post, “the feature will appear as a button that says Add Song (Add Music) next to the name track at the bottom of the FYP video.”

Then, when the user presses the Add Song button, they can choose to save it to their preferred music streaming service by pressing the “Add to Music App” button (Add to music app).

After the first use of the Add to Music App feature, the selected music app will become a service streaming music default. However, users can still change services streaming music default anytime under settings.

Users can also use the Add to Music App feature from the artist’s Sound Details Page.

This feature is being rolled out in stages. Currently, this new TikTok feature is only available for users in the United States and England. However, TikTok said that this feature would be rolled out to other users widely.

Apart from that, previously TikTok has also launched the Direct Post or Direct Upload feature from third-party video editing applications.

In this feature, TikTok collaborates with video editing applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, AI creativity application Adobe Express, Twitch, SocialPilot, and ByteDance’s CapCut.
