Clouseau has played an extensive concert series in the Sportpaleis for 11 years in a row, each time in December. That tradition started in 2000, after a performance with an orchestra during the “Night of the Proms” in 1999.
The annual concert series each had a theme. For example, Clouseau played “in the long”, “in the middle”, “in the double” and “crescendo”. In record year 2007, Clouseau played no fewer than 18 concerts.
The last Sportpaleis shows for the time being were organized in 2010, entitled “The Last Round”. In 2016 and 2017 there were “Clouseau Danst” shows in Antwerp. The Sportpaleisteller now has 124 concerts: no artist does better.
On December 20, 2024, Clouseau will play his 125th Sportpaleis show, under the title “Clouseau40” and “with a little more confetti”. In the last weekend of November this year, Clouseau will return to the Sportpaleis during the three “Night of the Proms” shows.
