Apple Introduces Voice Control Feature to Unlock iPhone in iOS 14.6 and Later

Apple has introduced an accessibility feature that allows you to unlock iPhone Using just your voice, in iOS 14.6 and later, according to macrumors.

For several years now, Apple’s iOS mobile operating system has included a Voice Control feature that enables users to control a variety of system functions on their ‌iPhone‌ using only their voice as a trigger.

Until recently, one of the limitations of voice control was that it wouldn’t work if your‌iPhone‌ was locked, however, since the introduction of iOS 14.6 and later, it includes Apple An enhanced version of the feature so that if your ‌iPhone‌ is on the lock screen, you can use your voice to enter the passcode and unlock it.

How to unlock your iPhone using Voice Control:

1- Open the Settings app on your iPhone‌.

2- Scroll down and click Accessibility.

3- Press Voice Control, toggle on the switch next to Voice Control.

4- Now lock your ‌iPhone‌ using the side button and then press ‌iPhone‌ to wake the lock screen.

5- Say “Go Home” to unlock your iPhone using Face ID

If that doesn’t work and you see the passcode screen, say (for example) “Press 1” to press the 1 key with your voice on the screen. Repeat this procedure for all six digits in your passcode to unlock your ‌iPhone‌.
