At its annual conference, the North Tallinn region of the Estonian Central Party unanimously elected Vadim Belobrovtsev as the region’s chairman, who will lead the region from 2019.
“I am very grateful to the members of the region for their trust. Northern Tallinn has always been a crucial region for the Center Party. For me, the position of regional chairman is a great honor, but at the same time a great responsibility. It is no secret that today the position of the Kekserakona in the political landscape of Estonia is somewhat weaker than usual, but the improvement of this situation is in our hands. Next year, the European Parliament elections await us, but an even more important milestone is the local elections in October 2025. We are working hard and will definitely improve our positions both in Tallinn and in other municipalities,” said Belobrovtsev.
Vadim Belobrovtsev has been a member of the board of the Central Party since 2018. In the years 2015-2017, he worked as Kristiine district mayor, in 2017-2023 as the deputy mayor of Tallinn in the field of education, culture and sports. Since March of this year, he has been a member of the Riigikogu, vice-chairman of the faction of the Center Party.
