Tovino also says that while making this film, he was convinced that it was not going to be a hit, a billion-dollar film. Tovino says in an interview that he can’t be paid from this film like other films and in most films he gets paid according to the film.
‘I am not someone who can be called a producer. Not a good person to be a producer. Making a film in partnership with good people is all about making the film happen. It’s about doing what we can on our part. You must have already realized that this movie is not a blockbuster, a hundred crore movie. I was convinced before doing this. Not only me but everyone who is making this film has realized that.
I should not get the salary from this film that I get from other films. That’s not true. In most of the films, I get paid on a per-film basis. But when I was told to put my name in the production instead, I said okay. That is what happened at the time of the weeds. I am part of its production without paying. ‘My effort and time is my investment,’ said Tovino Thomas.
The film was selected for competition at the 27th Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival (POFF) in Estonia. The film also has the distinction of being the first Malayalam film to be screened in the competition category at the Tallinn Black Nights Festival. Nimisha Sajayan is playing Tovino’s heroine in the film. Invisible Windows is also a film that reunites Nimisha and Tovino after an infamous boyfriend. Indrans also plays an important role.
