Starting in 2025, if results continue to be favorable, you will likely start to see more helicopters in New York City. But it is not the police or television, but a new air transport service.
It is an air and electric taxi, which made its first exhibition flight in the Big Apple and is causing a global sensation.
According to the company that manufactured it, the aircraft has capacity for four passengers, reaching a maximum speed of 200 miles per hour. However, its greatest attraction is that it does not pollute the air or produce the noise of a traditional helicopter.
Joby Aviation plans to begin offering commercial trips, starting in 2025.
Through its website, the manufacturer detailed that the air taxi is powered by six electric motors. “It takes off and lands vertically, providing the flexibility to serve almost any community,” they highlighted.

The New York Parks Department says fallen leaves should not be picked up off the ground. “Leaf litter provides organic matter for healthier soil. In addition, it is a habitat for microscopic organisms that help plants,” explains the agency.
