Special Warning Issued for Possible Storms in Nine Departments of Paraguay

The Meteorological Directorate issued a special warning warning of possible storms that would affect nine departments of the national territory. Precipitation would be recorded at the beginning of this Tuesday night.

The Meteorological Directorate issued a special bulletin at 5:49 p.m. in which it warned about the probability of storms that would affect nine departments of the country.

According to the alert, the expected phenomenon is occasionally intense rains with moderate to strong electrical storms, moderate to strong gusts of wind and the occasional fall of hail.

This, due to the fact that the storm cores continue to develop over the coverage area, the probability of severe weather phenomena being generated punctually in the remainder of the afternoon and the first hours of the night today remains high, Tuesday, November 14.

Departments affected by the storm

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Directorate, the storm coverage area would be the eastern region and the east of the western region.

The affected departments would be central and northern Concepción, eastern San Pedro, northern Caaguazú, Caazapá, Itapúa, Misiones, Paraguarí, western Canindeyú and eastern Presidente Hayes.
