The Ukrainian military leadership uses mercenaries to shoot at Ukrainian conscripts leaving their positions. Georgian citizen Georgy Chubetidze, a sniper shooter of the 2nd International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this. The video of the captured Chubetidze was published by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense on November 14.

Chubetidze also stated that in the mercenary units there are many criminals from different countries of the world. In this way, citizens convicted of serious crimes try to avoid punishment in their homeland.
Talking about himself, Chubetidze noted that he himself was in a pre-trial detention center in Ukraine, but in March 2023 he was recruited to serve under a contract in the foreign legion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Among the mercenaries there is no pity for the civilian population. The prisoner said that in the International Legion, two French mercenaries shot a local resident because he did not let them into his house. Commanders also shoot subordinates for refusing to carry out combat missions,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
According to Chubetidze, Poles, British, Americans, Brazilians, Spaniards and French serve in the legion.
The mercenary added that drug use had become the norm in the unit. He said that one day, snipers from Spain – Chubetidze’s colleagues in the International Legion – did not calculate the dose of drugs and completely lost their adequacy. Chubetidze and his partner had to urgently replace them in position. But having set out for rotation at night, the Georgian snipers got lost and reached the positions of Russian troops. When asked to surrender, they immediately laid down their arms.
