Jakarta –
The detikOto editorial team has tried it out New Vespa GTS 150 Super Sport for daily for almost a week. The vehicle, which is priced at IDR 84 million, has more power than the previous version. So, what is the fuel consumption?
It is known that the new Vespa GTS 150 actually uses the same structure as the previous generation. However, the manufacturer provides improvements to the camshaft components, changes to the injection system, additional components in the ECU, and tuning the combustion chamber.
Thanks to these changes, the new Vespa GTS 150 now has a maximum power of 15.4 hp and a peak torque of 15 Nm. In the previous generation, the motorbike only had 14.4 hp and 13.5 Nm of torque.

So, does this large increase in power make the consumption of the new Vespa GTS 150 more wasteful? Following are our test results.
New Vespa GTS 150 fuel consumption
While using the new Vespa GTS 150, detikOto testers always fill it with RON 92 fuel belonging to Pertamina aka Pertamax. These motorbikes are mostly driven in the Jabodetabek area with routes dominated by highways and residential areas.

The instrument panel displayed varying results during testing. The best achievement that testers could get was 41 km/liter. However, on several occasions, testers also got fuel consumption figures that were rather low, namely 34 km/liter.
It should be noted, this is the result of computing systems embedded in the vehicle. So, the numbers may change.
Apart from that, fuel consumption is also greatly influenced by how you drive. During the testing process, the motorbike was driven more often at a constant speed in the range of 60-70 km/hour. The maximum speed that the tester achieved was only 90 km/hour.
