Tragic Hit-and-Run Accident in Brooklyn Leaves Pedestrian Dead

A pedestrian died Monday night after being hit by a hit-and-run vehicle on the streets of Brooklyn.

The events were reported around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Foth Hamilton Parkway and 37th Street, in the Borough Park area.

According to preliminary reports, a vehicle hit the person, still unidentified, and then fled.

The victim died instantly.

It is being investigated whether he could have been hit by a second car that had also fled.

They run over an old woman a few blocks away

In the same section of Borough Park, an elderly woman was hit by a van.

The accident occurred in the first minutes of this Tuesday at the intersection of 64th Street and 11th Street.

According to first reports, the alleged perpetrator was driving a truck belonging to a New York State Police fraternity.

The driver remained at the scene.

No further information was given about the victim or his state of health.
