On Friday, the Planet OMEGA exhibition was the occasion for another memorable evening: Daniel Craig made a notable appearance during the exhibition in New York. Following last Thursday’s opening night with Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig was the latest OMEGA ambassador to visit the exhibition, which has just opened at the Chelsea Factory
Planet OMEGA brings the Swiss brand’s famous watchmaking history to life by showcasing iconic timepieces from the past and present. Open until November 19, the exhibition is an opportunity to discover the richness of OMEGA’s DNA, with six spaces devoted to the themes of sport and the Olympic Games, space, the ocean, James Bond, friends of the brand and precision.
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, was also present at the opening cocktail and showed Daniel Craig around the exhibition.

He said: “We can’t talk about OMEGA without mentioning James Bond. The famous spy has been wearing our watches since 1995, so I’m delighted that Daniel was able to be here today. During the five films in which he played Agent 007, he truly helped showcase the precision, style and reliability of OMEGA, and even participated in our watch design process. »
Daniel Craig has been an OMEGA ambassador since taking over the role of James Bond for Casino Royale in 2006. During his visit to the Planet OMEGA exhibition, he was able to see many of the most iconic Seamaster models used in films for over 25 years. Among them, the Seamaster Diver 300M that he recently wore in No Time To Die: a cinema prop on loan from the OMEGA museum in Switzerland.
