The Classics catalog on PS5 and PS4 looks set to be expanded with a surprise PSP title. We are talking about a 3D platformer, licensed from the Disney Pixar animated film called Up.
The 2009 adventure game was rated by a Taiwanese rating agency, and such situations almost always mean an imminent release – including on new platforms. However, neither Sony nor publisher THQ have announced the game’s release.
If the assumptions are confirmed, then only subscribers of the most expensive version of PlayStation Plus Premium will be able to play Up. Essential and Extra options do not provide access to the classic product catalog.
This appears to be a PSP port, although the game has also been released on a number of other platforms, including PS2 and PS3.
The news has caused outrage among fans, who say the corporation should have chosen games and versions more carefully. Others say with nostalgia that this is a great project from their childhood.
