Cameron was leader of the Conservative Party, popularly called the Tories, from 2005 to 2016 and was Prime Minister of Great Britain from 2010 to 2016.

Cameron, who is a supporter of the EU, initiated the referendum on British EU membership in June 2016, which ended in victory for Brexit. After the loss in the referendum, he resigned as party leader and prime minister.

He was pictured entering the Prime Minister’s residence at number 10 Downing Street in London on Monday morning.

It has not yet been confirmed what the reason for the visit is.
