László Földes Hobo presents his new album Hobo Rádió at the National Theater on November 17.
In addition to sixteen brand new songs, the album also includes a Rolling Stones cover, Satisfaction, the organizers of the concert told MTI.
In the first half of the disc, there were more cheerful numbers, some of which the singer-songwriter recently presented in his solo evening called “Az utcazenész”. The second half of the album features songs with a serious tone.
The performance tries to show a long, difficult, painful and yet beautiful journey. In addition to old times and songs, it will also show where I have come and where I am now
– the announcement quotes the artist, who adds, “besides the funny and sarcastic reminiscences, the rapid deterioration of human nature, and the painful losses, the songs of love, affection, loyalty, and patriotism will also be sung.”
Among the members of Hobo’s current band, guitarist Zoltán Kiss, keyboardist Zoltán Nemes and bassist György Attila are among the composers. They were joined for seven tracks by Gábor Madarász, who most recently collaborated with Hobo on the album Circus Hungaricus, and who will also perform at the album launch concert.
The author will sign the Hobo Rádió album on Thursday, November 16 at 5 p.m. at the MG Records record store.
