Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza: Director-General of WHO Warns of Exhausted Health System

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, as reported by Agence France-Presse: “It is impossible to describe the situation on the ground: hospital corridors crowded with wounded, sick and dying people, crowded morgues, surgeries without anesthesia, tens of thousands of refugees,” noting that “more than 250 attacks” had occurred. On health institutions in Gaza and the West Bank since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
