Opera Backdrop Design by Fernando Botero to Star in Casa Morton Latin American Art Auction

A design for the opera backdrop Carmenby Georges Bizet, by the Colombian visual artist Fernando Botero (1932-2023), who died on September 15, will be the star of the Casa Morton Latin American Art Auctionwhich will take place on November 16, at 5:00 p.m., in the Candiles Room of the Naval Club Norte.

Botero is one of the most representative artists of Latin American art, who stood out for his distinctive style and his ability to play with form and volume.
