Demining Ukraine: Clearing Territory and Handling Destroyed Enemy Equipment

As part of the execution orders The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ministry of Defense is already working on clearing the territories. To do this, the remains of destroyed enemy equipment are collected and grouped in approximately 80 areas in Ukraine.

“Before experts from the Ministry of Defense arrive at these sites, they are examined by explosives experts. The further fate of the remains of the equipment depends on its condition,” the press service writes.

During the inspection of residues, consultants check:

can the equipment be a donor of spare parts for the APU equipment; can it become a museum exhibit or part of an exhibition; or may be disposed of as “scrap metal” according to certain procedures.
