Egyptian President Sisi and Turkish President Erdogan’s Historic Meeting at Arab and Islamic Summit

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media pioneers circulated video clips and photos from the meeting between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the sidelines of the Arab and Islamic Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

The Egyptian journalist, Amra Adeeb, commented on the body language between the two presidents during the program he presents on MBC, and that it “shows that the relationship has developed.”

The Egyptian presidency published pictures of the meeting, in which Sisi appeared to be placing his hand on Erdogan’s hand, after diplomatic relations improved and resumed between the two countries.

Al-Sisi held separate meetings on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, on Saturday, with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
