Tibor Navracsics emphasized at the handing over of the renewed stairs of the Pannónia Cultural Center and Library in Balatonalmád: the lives of Balatonalmád, Balatonfüred and Veszprém are organically connected, so the developments of the three cities “must come together.” Together, the three cities can be an excellent field for investors and services as a unified region – he opined.
He added that thanks to the investments, a creative industry center will develop in the region.
The minister praised the program Balatonalmádi, the city of colorful stairs, according to him, the colorful stairs in the city are a tourist attraction, and they also strengthen the identity of the people who live here.
Gábor Czombó, the creator of the Balatonalmádi City of Colorful Stairs program, reported that 9 stairs throughout the city were renovated, and the steps of the cultural center received a mosaic covering. The colors turn the city’s stairs into a touristic work of art – he said.
