The police arrested men with the initials R (29), IS (31), and JS (48) who were named suspects DDY’s murder (38), an employee mass rapid transit (MRT). The three perpetrators were arrested less than 24 hours after DDY’s body was found in the East Flood Canal (BKT), Cakung, East Jakarta (Jaktim).
Previously, DDY’s body was declared an unidentified corpse shortly after it was found floating face down at BKT. From the start, the police suspected that the victim had been murdered because cuts were found on the neck and stab wounds on the victim’s chest.
“A man around 40 years old. Possible murder,” said Cakung Police Chief Commissioner Panji Ali Candra when contacted, Friday (10/11/2023).

DDY’s body was found Friday morning. At that time, the police announced the victim’s characteristics, namely that he was wearing a blue short-sleeved t-shirt that said ‘traveling’ and brown shorts.
“There are signs of injury to the body, namely a wound on the neck, then there is a stab wound on the chest, then there are bruises on the left hand,” explained Panji.
DDY’s body was then evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. When they arrived there, a team of forensic doctors performed an autopsy on DDY’s body.
“The cause of death was injuries to the right neck due to a sharp object hitting the jugular vein, and several injuries to the body due to sharp objects. On the right chest and several places on the hands and fingers,” explained the Head of the Kramat Jati National Police Hospital (Karumkit), Brigadier General Hariyanto, to reporters. , Saturday (11/11).
3 Suspects Arrested, 1 Fugitive
Saturday afternoon, Head of Sub-Directorate for Resmob Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Titus Yudho Ully revealed that he had arrested three suspected perpetrators murder of MRT employee. Meanwhile another person is still in pursuit.
Titus revealed that suspect R played the role of giving the idea. Then the suspect IS was the executor and the suspect was JS (48).
“And 1 DPO (wanted list of people aka fugitives),” said Titus.
