The singer describes herself with the words of the song “Ile Penaro” by Ignacio María Gómez – through the rhythm of nature, I find my own melody.
The participant of the show laughs, saying that she was afraid that the mentors would tell her that she remained too normal and that she had no place in the show, as there is no need for participants with their “drive”. Looking at her image in the mirror, Katrina states that she has become much more mature, more elegant, but still looks for “style pearls” in second-hand clothing stores, giving clothes a second life.
“At one point I had grown much longer hair, then I got bored. I still want color in my hair, so I continue to make bright accents in my pony. Lately, more blondes than bright tones,” reveals Katrina, thinking that she hasn’t remained too normal after all.
Two years ago, when Intars Busulis made Katrina sit out of her chair, the young woman was tormented by remorse for some undone things. She received many letters of support, which motivated her to believe in herself even more.

“The show is a great step for my future as I want to perform and make music. For now, I sing other artists’ hits at concerts, but I am aware that I need to start thinking about my own songs. I want to create my own music and heal souls. My concerts will be meditative and will make everyone feel like they are in a different world, if only for a moment,” Katrina declares.
The musician dreams of performing on a ship, where guests will be rocked by the sea and caressed by the wind, creating a special atmosphere.
Katrína often organizes small concerts for herself or others. Feeling the warmth and presence of people, her self-confidence and desire to be on stage also grew. One of the most memorable concerts is the musician’s performance at the opening of the VKN/KAS exhibition “Writings separately”.
As a funny incident related to music, Katrina mentions the time when she stayed overnight in the observation tower in Kolkata. She sang lullabies to passers-by so they thought they were singing mermaids. The show participant does not call such an act crazy, rather romantic.
Currently, the young woman spends most of her time at the Latvian Art Academy, she is glad that she never said that she did not want to go to the academy, which means that the choice of studies was correct. She does what she has learned, wanted to do and did all her life – she draws animations.
