The police are investigating attempted aggravated robbery

EA 14-year-old was temporarily arrested in Vienna-Währing on Friday morning because she is said to have threatened her mother with two kitchen knives during an argument with her parents. According to the state police department, the girl is said to have demanded money from her parents. She denied the allegations, but an investigation is underway for attempted aggravated robbery and a ban on entry and approach as well as a temporary ban on weapons has been issued against the suspect.
After the parents alerted the police by telephone, the officers from the Währing city police command found the 14-year-old daughter in the hallway of the apartment building. She was then questioned about the allegations in her parents’ apartment. The two kitchen knives were still on the living room table and were confiscated by the officers; the Vienna State Criminal Police Office took over the further investigation.
