Commemoration ceremonies of Atatürk are held in different countries

The founder of the Republic of Turkey, Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, is commemorated with ceremonies on the 85th anniversary of his death. SIA refers to Turkish websites about this.

The ceremony held in front of the Atatürk monument in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Baku Cahit Bagci, embassy employees, representatives of Turkish institutions and students of Turkish educational institutions.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Cyprus) and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu also participated in the ceremony.

In his speech at the ceremony, Bagci said that Atatürk united the great Turkish nation, which did not submit to occupation, oppression, and mandate, in the spirit of national independence and freedom struggle, and that he led the liberation of Anatolia, the last homeland of the Turks, from the enemy and then the establishment of the republic.

As part of the commemorative events of Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atarürk, an exhibition of paintings by Azerbaijani artist Ramil Ahmadov related to Atatürk and a photo exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey were held at the Turkish embassy in Baku.

A commemoration ceremony of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was also held at the Consulate General of Turkey in Ganja.

In addition to the employees of the diplomatic mission, the management of the Ganja City Executive Authority, officials, intellectuals, and Turkish students participated in the event.

At the event, the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the anthems of the two brotherly countries were played.

Consul General of Turkey in Ganja, Recep Öztop, spoke about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s historical services to the Turkish people in his speech.

Ambassador Ismayil Hakki Musa and his wife, embassy officials, representatives of Turkish institutions in China, Turkish citizens and guests took part in the ceremony organized at the Turkish Embassy in Beijing on the occasion of November 10 Atatürk Memorial Day.

In his speech at the ceremony, Ambassador Musa emphasized that trying to understand Atatürk is as important as commemorating his memory.

On the other hand, the wax statue of the founder of the Republic, Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, will be presented to visitors today at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
