Iran’s Threats to Israel and the US: “The Nightmare of Destruction”

Iran: Time is running out for Israel and the “nightmare of destruction” cannot be removed

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said: Time is running out for Tel Aviv “in continuing crimes against the people of Gaza,” at a time when the commander of the “Revolutionary Guard,” Hossein Salami, threatened the United States and its ally Israel with “a nightmare of destruction that cannot be removed,” speaking of reaching His country is “a military deterrent that no force can confront.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian wrote on the “X” platform, which is banned in Iran: “Time for the continuation of Tel Aviv’s crimes is quickly running out.” He added: “The only benefit for Netanyahu is that he undermines the foundations of the false Israeli entity, and clearly displays the criminal, violent, and aggressive face of Israel in killing children and women in Gaza.” He added: “Without a doubt, the future belongs to the Palestinians.”

In turn, the Iranian Foreign Ministry denounced the G7 statement, in which it called on Tehran to stop supporting Hamas and Hezbollah and not take steps that “destabilize the Middle East.”

Agence France-Presse reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned this statement. He said: “Since the beginning of the current crisis in Gaza, the Islamic Republic of Iran has begun continuous efforts to stop the military attacks now being launched by the aggressor Zionist entity against Gaza and to save the lives of its defenseless citizens and residents.”

Kanaani added: “What was expected of the G7 foreign ministers in Tokyo was to fulfill their international responsibility, including condemning the actions of the Zionist entity in Gaza, which violate human rights and international law, and to stop supporting war crimes and genocide in Gaza,” according to what was reported. From the French Press Agency, from the official “IRNA” agency in Arabic.

Iranian officials use the term “axis of resistance” to describe armed groups that Western powers describe as “Iran’s agents.” With the increase in attacks against American forces in Syria and Iraq, Iranian officials said that these groups are “independent in their opinions, decisions, and actions.”

The commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Hussein Salami, said: “Gaza has become a graveyard for the United States and the Zionist entity today.” He added, “The entity occupying Jerusalem cannot regain its lost power,” according to the Fars Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards.

Salami stated that “fear (…) has disappeared with the Palestinian youth movement” and said: “No one can remove the nightmare of death from the minds of Israelis,” and added: “The nightmare of destruction has not left the minds of Americans and Israelis, and everyone should know that Gaza “Victorious.”

Salami added: “The matter has brought the Israelis and some Western countries to a place where they think that killing children will give them power, but they must know that they will not achieve their goals.”

Salami was speaking at a conference organized by a military university affiliated with the General Staff, discussing maritime opportunities and threats to Iran, in conjunction with the unveiling of a plan sent by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei regarding development prospects centered on the seas.

Salami said: “American leaders believe that they cannot be reached because of their country’s presence between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans,” describing this as “artificial and false” politics. He saw the seas as “a political means for dreams of American hegemony.” He said: “America’s strategy is to control the world. They are trying to transfer it across the seas alongside air power. Because the sea has an important impact on the power structure and organization of American military power.”

He added, “Today, Iran has reached a deterrent force in the military field, and no force can confront it.” But he said: Iran “does not seek confrontation with normal countries. We are not the enemies of those countries and they are not our enemies.” He continued: “We will not go to war with our neighbors even in the world of imagination, but we can plan to obstruct non-regional powers.”

In part of his speech, he pointed to the importance of shipping oil and gas at sea, in light of global demand. He said: “Any country that can organize global needs has power and influence, and this leads to achieving national self-security.” He said: “We now have a very strong deterrent, and with the passage of power, the value of the seas will increase and the security situation will become stronger for the Islamic Republic.”

Salami spoke of aspirations to expand artificial intelligence used in missiles, radar systems, unmanned boats, and naval ships.

There was no comment from Iran on the US army’s strike on a facility in Syria, following attacks launched by an Iraqi faction linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, against US and coalition forces in Syria and Iraq.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said: On Wednesday, the United States struck a “weapons storage facility” in Syria linked to Iran, in response to attacks on American employees.

Later, Biden told reporters: The United States will strike targets linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and its affiliated groups again if necessary.

In Berlin, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said today (Thursday): “The war in Gaza must not turn into a major regional conflict. Iran and Hezbollah must remain outside of this battle.”
