TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Xiaomi launch tablet Pad 6 series consisting of standard, pro, and max models in China earlier this year. The company has reportedly started work on its successor model, namely the Xiaomi Pad 7 series.
Reliable whistleblower Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now shared the first information about the allegations Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.
DCS, as quoted by Gizmochina, November 9 2023, stated that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will feature the same LCD screen panel as its predecessor. The panel will also maintain a 144Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience.
The tipster adds that the device will have a square camera module at the top left corner of the back panel like the recently launched Xiaomi 14 series smartphones.
The Pad 7 Pro will reportedly be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor clocked at 3.36GHz. Previously, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro was equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Despite the above information, the details of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro are still a mystery. The Pad 6 series was announced alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone in April this year.
Various reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to launch in Q1 2024, so it is likely that the company will also announce the Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet alongside its flagship smartphone at the same event.
Keep in mind, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is equipped with a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera, an 8,600mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support, and up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
