Eligible people will receive a new direct payment on November 16 in the United States. This is a stimulus check of up to $1,312.00 USD from the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD).With this economic support, the state of Alaska will provide financial relief to its eligible residents. The money is part of the state’s mineral income and seeks to benefit the current and future generations of the entity.
Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum noted that the 2023 PFD is the 42nd time Alaskans have reaped some of the wealth of its natural resources.
“This year, we processed at least 8,000 more applications than in 2022. The 2023 PFD will inject almost a billion dollars into the state’s economy and directly into the hands of Alaskans,” Crum said.
