Fundraiser run
The Bad Krozingen vocational school, in cooperation with the Volksbank Breisgau-Markgrflerland, has once again organized a fundraising run, the proceeds of which go to social causes. As part of the school festival on the penultimate day of school before the summer holidays, the students were motivated in the beautiful weather and raised a total of 1,650 euros, according to a statement from the vocational school. There was one euro for every 400 meter lap around the school grounds, and 25 euros for a half marathon. The teachers also laced up their sports shoes and ran numerous laps around the school. A total of 1,536 laps, 614 kilometers and two half marathons were run. The Volksbank Breisgau-Markgrflerland donated the amount raised to the Bad Krozingen vocational school and increased the amount to 3,000 euros. The school, in turn, supports “Doctors Without Borders” and, in the region, the Freiburg Association for Children with Cancer. The Volksbank, represented by Stefanie Utz and Cosima Link, once again provided all runners with free apples – donated by Obsthof Busch – drinks and pastries.
