The war between Serbia and Kosovo killed more than 10 thousand people, mostly Kosovar Albanians. Kosovo authorities say that the remains of more than 1,600 of those killed have still not been found.
Prime Minister Kurti said that these people were buried in unmarked graves and accused Serbia of trying to hide their whereabouts.
24 years after the war between Kosovo, which declared independence in 2008, and Serbia, tensions remain. Deadly armed clashes between ethnic Serbs and Kosovo police in northern Kosovo in September have raised fears of a new war.
