The Cairo Criminal Court wrote the final word in the trial of 3 accused of killing the coast doctor, inside a private clinic, after sentencing the first and second accused to death and an aggravated 15-year sentence for the third accused.
There are important dates related to the case, including:
“June 18, 2023” refers to the date the defendants were detained pending the case. Prosecution for the accused.
“September 2, 2020” refers to the first trial sessions of the accused.
– “October 8, 2023”, felonies refer the accused to the Mufti.
“November 6, 2023”, felonies impose the death penalty for two defendants and the aggravated death penalty for the third defendant.
Investigations said that the first accused was a friend of the victim, a “doctor”, and he and the second accused woman in the case decided to lure the dead doctor, to obtain sums of money from him by any means, so the accused then prepared a drink for the victim, and put a large amount of one of his narcotic drugs in it. After consuming the drink, he fell unconscious on the ground and suffered a severe drop in blood circulation due to the amount of the drug he had consumed. He died immediately, which caused fear for the first accused and the second accused, so they contacted another person, “Tamraj”, who works with the first accused, and asked him to… He helps them hide the dead doctor’s body after telling him that they did not kill him, and that he died as a result of a drug overdose.
Investigations also indicated that the three defendants dug large holes inside the clinic that witnessed the incident, and it was found that the first defendant offered to cut up the victim’s body so that it could be easily hidden. However, the second defendant and the third defendant rejected his idea and feared it because of the large amount of blood, and they contented themselves with placing the body. In the hole, backfill it again, put tiles on it, and end the matter there, believing that they were able to hide and obscure the crime.
