Research in 2018 showed that consuming even low doses of ginger, namely less than 2 g per day, had the effect of lowering triglyceride and LDL cholesterol levels.

3. Turmeric

Turmeric is known for its yellow color and distinctive taste. Some people also use it for traditional medicine. A 2017 study found that turmeric and curcumin may protect patients at risk of cardiovascular disease by improving serum lipid levels.
