With the expansion of the Langelen roundabout, the factory management has to give way

The community assembly in Dintikon decides on a loan of 258,000 francs for the “project planning of the works”. That’s what it’s all about.

The renovated Langelen junction will one day look like this visualization.

Whether in morning or after-hours traffic: there are regularly long tailbacks on the busy Bünztalstrasse. The Langelen roundabout in Dintikon is at its limit. Many motorists take secret routes through residential areas.

The canton is currently developing a preliminary project for the renovation. The actual construction project, the loan approval by the Grand Council, the public release and the land acquisition process will follow later. If everything goes smoothly, work can start in 2028. Construction is expected to take two to three years. An expansion on two levels is planned: at the top is the roundabout, at the bottom the Bünztal axis with the two main lanes runs through an underpass structure with ramps.

From lighting to water supply

The announced 30 million franc project on the main axis between Lenzburg and Wohlen is casting its shadow: At the upcoming community meeting in Dintikon, a loan of 258,000 francs will be discussed for the project planning of the works in connection with the renovation of the roundabout. Various cables in the community run in and along the cantonal roads and will have to make way for an expansion with an underpass and additional lanes, and some of them will have to be re-routed: energy supply, lighting, sewerage and water supply.

The local council explains that the relocation and adjustment of the factory lines must be planned in a construction and approval project and coordinated with the cantonal road project.

Budget expects a loss of around 95,100 francs

On Tuesday, November 21st, voters will also decide on naturalizations, loan settlements, the overall revision of usage planning and the 2024 budget with an unchanged tax rate of 98 percent.

A loss of almost 95,100 francs is assumed. The previous year’s budget expected an increase of almost 16,000 francs.
