PlayStation Terminates Integration Functions with X for PS5 and PS4

PlayStation will terminate the related integration functions of X (formerly known as Twitter). Starting from November 13, users of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles will not be able to post information and view content directly on X.

PlayStation stops X-related integration functions for PS5 and PS4

PlayStation actually stopped supporting Facebook integration functions on the PS4 system as early as October 7, 2019, such as posting game screenshots, trophy event information, and using the friend search function.

The latest announcement points out that starting from November 13, the related integration functions of View content, trophies, and other game-related activities.

If you want to continue sharing screenshots or game screens from PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 after November 13, the official recommendation for PS5 is to “access PS5 game capture screens” on the PS App, as long as the PS5 console is connected to the PlayStation App and has an Internet connection. Once connected, you can enable automatic uploading.

For PS4, it is recommended to press the SHARE button and select an online service, select Action to upload the screenshot to PlayStation™Network and share it via action, or copy to a USB storage device.

It’s not clear why PlayStation has stopped integrating functions related to Facebook and Or you can do it through the PS App function.
