Fujairah (Al-Ittihad)
Al-Nasr won first place in the First Fujairah Badminton Championship, which was organized by the Badminton Federation with the support of the General Sports Authority at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, with the participation of 124 male and female players representing 5 different age groups, including the age groups under 11, 13, 15 and 17 years, in addition to the general category. Al-Nasr came first with 18 colored medals, 8 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze. The Kalba Federation came second with 12 medals, 1 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze. Abu Dhabi Racquet Games ranked third with 5 medals, including 2 silver and 3 bronze. Aisha Bint Othman’s team came. In fourth place with 3 bronze medals, then “Extra Sports Academy” in fifth place with two gold medals, one gold and one bronze.
The coronation ceremony was attended by Noura Al Jasmi, President of the Badminton Federation, Salem Al Mazrouei, Vice President of the Federation, Muhammad Ali Amer, representative of the General Sports Authority and official of the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, and Faris Al Mazrouei from the Kalba Federation.
In detail, Al-Nasr won first place in the general category “Boys” through its player Muhammad Ali Flamerzi and Salem Saif from the Kalba Federation in second place, and Abdullah Al-Balushi (Al-Nasr) and Hamdan Al-Mazrouei (Kalba) shared third place, and in the “Girls” category Al-Nasr dominated the three places. The first was by Ghadeer Al Dhaheri, Farah Al Hajji, Hamda Al Makrani and Hind Al Hilali (third repeat), and in the category of boys under 17 years old, Abdul Aziz Muhammad from Al Nasr won first place, and the Kalba Ittihad trio took second, third and third places in repeat, and they are Mansour Al Mazrouei, Khalifa Al Mazrouei and Hamad Al Mazrouei, and the category For girls under 17 years old, Al-Nasr player Samira Al-Balushi won first place, her colleague Ghaya Al-Muhairi won second place, Hind Al-Mazrouei from the “Aisha Bint Othman” team won third place, and Maitha Mubarak from Abu Dhabi Tennis Games won third place repeatedly.
In the boys’ category under 15 years, the Kalba Union took first and second places with Mayed Al Mazrouei and Shehab Saeed Al Mazrouei, and their colleague Ahmed Al Mazrouei won third place repeatedly, while Saif Ibrahim from Al Nasr won third place, and in the girls’ category under 15 years, Al Nasr took the first three places. By Futtaim Al-Dhahouri, Maryam Al-Hamid and Dana Ahmed, and Rawda Al-Mazrouei from Abu Dhabi Racquet Games won third place repeatedly.
The rest of the medals were distributed for the age groups under 11 and 13 years, boys and girls, among the various participating clubs, namely Al-Nasr, Kalba and Abu Dhabi Tennis Federation, Aisha Bin Othman, and Extra Sports Academy.
