MediaTek launches a new flagship chipset, Dimensity 9300, as scheduled, which comes with a full upgrade of the CPU, GPU, and APU, along with new features that will set a new standard for smartphones. Full details are as follows!
Starting with the CPU, the Dimensity 9300 chip comes with a 4nm architecture. “All-Big-core” There are a total of 8-Core CPUs packed into 3 powerful clusters as follows.
1 Prime Core (Cortex-X4) speed 3.25GHz 3 Performance Core (Cortex-X4) speed 2.85GHz 4 Efficiency Core (Cortex-A720) speed 2.0GHz
You can see that the CPU’s Efficiency Core (energy saving core) is used as a Cortex-A720 (usually this one is used more as a Performance Core). All of them are Performance Cores with a maximum speed of 3.25GHz, which MediaTek claims is a new CPU. This will be up to 40% more efficient and save 33% more energy than before!
As for the GPU, the Dimensity 9300 chip has been upgraded to The 12-Core Immortalis-G720 claims to be 46% more powerful than the previous generation and also supports a smooth Ray Tracing system at 60fps.
But where modern chips are competing, like AI or APU on Dimensity 9300, it’s no less impressive. The new APU 790 is 8 times faster than the previous generation in Generative AI and is also 45% more energy efficient than before.
In terms of photography and video, the Dimensity 9300 uses Imagiq 990 ISP, supporting a maximum camera resolution of 320MP, 8K/30fps video, 4K/30fps Portrait video. As for the display, the screen has MiraVision 990, which supports screen resolutions up to 4K 120Hz or 2K 180Hz.
The connection supports WiFi 7 (download up to 6.5Gbps), 5G Sub-6GHz with 10% better power management, and supports LPDDR5T RAM at 9600Mbps as well!
As for the Dimensity 9300 chip, it is expected to be used for the first time on vivo Let me tell you, it’s truly top-level in the industry!
