Since October 7, more than 1,600,000 Palestinians have been displaced as a result of Israel’s attacks on the occupied Gaza Strip.
According to information obtained by SIA, Iyad al-Bazm, spokesman of the Gaza Ministry of Interior, said at a press conference that Israel targeted residential centers and hospitals to relocate residents of Gaza City.
Bazm said, “As a result of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, more than 1,600,000 Palestinians have been displaced. In the last two days, the invaders have intensified the use of white phosphorus bombs, which are prohibited at the international level.”
He called on “honest people” to put pressure on Israel to end the war in Gaza.
It should be recalled that the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the night of October 7, called the “Aqsa Storm”. Thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, and armed groups entered settlements in the region. The Israeli army also launched the “Iron Swords” operation against the Gaza Strip with warplanes.
In the growing tension, there are thousands of casualties and thousands of wounded on both sides.
