Sixty percent of the amount raised in the “auction” of the honor roll of the 4th edition of the National Festival of Culture and Arts “tchole” will be donated to a charity, in an action that aims to encourage support for social causes in the country, at the palace iron, in Luanda
The work by plastic artist Adão Mussungo, signed by Carlos Lamartine, Dom Caetano, Josefina dos Santos (Lembinha), José Armando Sayovo and Maravilha dos Santos, entities honored in this edition, following the work developed, will be auctioned at the gala closing of the festival, this weekend.
Without saying the institution would benefit, the director of the Njila theater group, promoter of the event, Valdemar Francisco, told OPAÍS that the work was produced especially for the festival, which, in addition to representing national culture, will serve to benefit those most in need. “This is a work of art that needs no introduction.
I consider the signing moment to have been one of the highest points of the festival, for several artistic figures from our culture. A painting that, by the way, will be auctioned to demonstrate the social side of the project”, he highlighted. Valdemar added that this is a particularity that characterizes the event, where, since very early on, it has been embracing projects in order to awaken the social characteristics of this cultural initiative.
