Kalpatta: The second Wayanad Bikers Challenge jointly organized by the District Tourism Promotion Council and the Wayanad Bikers Club with the aim of promoting sustainable tourism has become remarkable. The main theme of the second edition was the promotion of backroad rides in the Western Ghats. The challenge started at 6.15 am on Sunday morning from Oshin Hotel near Civil Station and went through Muttil, Meenangadi, Kolagapara, Ambalavayal and Meppadi to Kalpatta bypass and concluded at Kebab Shack Hotel premises. District Cycle Association President Salim Kadavan and Oshin Hotels and Resorts MD T Shihab flagged off the event. District Police Chief Padamsingh conducted the prize distribution at the closing ceremony held at Oshin Hotel.
