The MV song was produced using artificial intelligence (AI) to extract the singing voice of the late lead singer John Lennon and then reassemble it.

“Now and Then” was originally written and performed by John Lennon, lead singer and guitarist of The Beatles, in 1978. In December 1980, Lennon was assassinated in front of his New York apartment. In November 2001, another guitarist, George Harrison, died of cancer.

It was later completed by other band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Peter Jackson’s production company used modern recording technology and AI to successfully distinguish Lennon’s noisy voice from the piano accompaniment and enhance the clarity of the sound. McCartney then added the guitar recording that Harrison tried to accompany the song, and imitated Harrison’s tone to fill in a few bars. He and Starr personally accompanied the song on bass and drums, and finally polished it. Jackson also took over the heavy responsibility and completed the music video.

He said: “We wanted the short film to bring tears to people’s eyes, but it’s a very tricky thing to drive emotion with just archival footage. But luckily the simplicity and power of this beautiful song did a lot for us Working, we quickly completed the first 30 to 40 seconds of the film.”

Jackson concluded: “After the above work was completed, we went directly to the end, trying to create a work that covers the glorious history of the Beatles in the last few seconds of the Beatles recording. Facts have proved This is impossible because their contribution to the world is so great and their beautiful musical talent has become part of our DNA beyond words.”

Lennon’s son Sean (Sean Ono Lennon) said: “After so many years after my dad left, I was very touched to hear them singing together. This is the last song my dad, Paul, George and Ringo wrote together. Song. It’s like a time capsule, everything feels like it’s meant to be.”
