Babu Antony’s make-up artist Rajish Pothavur shares his experiences on the Leo shooting sets. Rajish said that he tried to enter the sets in Kashmir because of the discussion there. Rajish also said that while saying good morning to Babu Antony, Vijay also says good morning to him. Rajesh’s response was to Media One.
‘I have been with Babu Antony Chetan for ten or fourteen years. Meeting Vijay sir for the first time in Kashmir was an unforgettable experience. Around thirty soldiers are standing outside the set with guns. Many people are standing outside to watch the shooting.
When I tried to get inside, the Hindi security guy came and asked what was going on. When Babu Antony sir’s name was mentioned, he was let inside. What I struggled with on set was the discussion. When he entered, Vijay sir and Sanjay Dutt sir were also talking. Babu Chetan is sitting nearby. When Vijay sir looked at me, I nodded. Sir raised his hand and smiled.
When he went to Babu sir, he asked whether you have arrived. Vijay sir asked me whether I am a Malayali. I said yes. I felt brave when I asked that. Since then, Vijay sir would say good morning to Babu sir in the morning,’ said Rajeesh.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo released on October 19. Starring Trisha as the female lead, the film also had a huge star cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Matthew Thomas, Madonna and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
